Let’s perform a very simple yet highly useful operation in Microsoft Excel. As you may know, the Focal feature has been added to the View menu in Excel 365.
With this feature, the cells you click on are automatically highlighted. You can also change the color if needed.
Now, let’s add the Focal button to the Quick Access Toolbar to make it more practical and accessible. All you need to do is right-click on the Focal button and select “Add to Quick Access Toolbar.”
Once added, you can easily activate it from here whenever you need. Similarly, if you want to remove it, you can do so directly from the same menu.
Thanks to this shortcut, the Focal feature will be instantly activated when you press the button, no matter which tab you are on—whether it’s the Home, Insert, or Page Layout tab.
Likewise, clicking the button again will disable the feature. This way, you can add frequently used buttons to the top menu for quick access by simply right-clicking and selecting “Add to Quick Access Toolbar.”
